A certificate in Muslim-Christian Dialogue will
be jointly offered by The Graduate School of Islamic and Social
Sciences and
The
Washington Theological Consortium starting Fall 2007.
The certificate will::
- Give students a deeper knowledge of Islam and Christianity,
- Give students greater knowledge of dialogue and reconciliation,
- Enable the graduate to assume a position of interfaith leadership
in his/her local community, and
- Provide a foundation for future study of relations between
Christianity and Islam.
The 12-graduate credit hour certificate will consist of courses
offered by faculty at
Washington
Theological Consortium member schools on their campuses in
the greater metropolitan Washington, DC area.
