January 22nd, 2007 – At its January 2007 meeting, the Board of Trustees of the Washington Theological Consortium voted unanimously to accept The Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences as a permanent Affiliate Member. The Washington Theological Consortium is the first Christian consortium of theological schools in the United States to admit an Islamic affiliate. Consortium faculty and students can take each others courses under a reciprocal cross-registration agreement, and may borrow materials from consortium member libraries.
